I was excited when the Auckland Art Gallery asked me to design an embroidery kit referencing their recent exhibiton "The Corsini Collection" - an exhibition of Renaissance and Baroque art. Included in the exhibiton was some embroidered clothing as well as domestic items from the period - including a recipe book! It was a fantastic project to be involved with and this is the result. A bouquet of Renaissance-esque flowers on a black background sprinkled with a bit of bling! Those Renaissance ladies and gents liked their finery as the paintings and costumes show.
The kits have all sold but the pdf pattern lives on!
Pdf includes pattern for tracing, reversed pattern for heat transfer, colour and stitch guide along with some general embroidery tips and tricks.
Pattern will be emailed to you within 48 hours (mostly sooner).
This pattern is suitable for intermediate stitchers
I made a clutch bag (pictured) but you could also make a tote bag, a cushion or just pop into a pretty frame.
